Yes. With Payoneer Workforce Management, we will employ the team directly on our platform to work directly for the customer’s business. This will take away the customer’s need to set up their own entity and incorporate costly infrastructure into their business such as HR, compliance, etc..
Even though the EOR is not legally recognized in Spain, there has been a recent ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (October 24, 2024, Case C-441/23) that could pave the way for EOR companies in Spain as an alternative to traditional temporary employment agencies. This ruling may mark the beginning of a change in Spanish regulations and allow for progress toward the EOR model.
